We believe that our steadfast commitment to providing our lawyers with easy access to files from anywhere in the world is necessary for today’s fast-paced business environment. We also believe that superior technology creates efficiencies in attorney and staff productivity. To that end, our policy is to create an electronic, on-line mirror of all of our litigation files, so that when any of our lawyers are sitting in a deposition or meeting anywhere in the world, they will have every single document that has been filed, served, mailed, or produced in that case at their fingertips. This is also efficient when our lawyers are in the office because they can search for documents directly from their desks without having to search through boxes and boxes of paper. In addition to reducing the risk of misplacing documents and reducing the costs and inefficiencies of retrieving and refilling documents, this approach also reduces copying costs and efficiently positions the client for summary judgment, settlement, or trial.
We have also included deposition transcripts on our system so that they can be easily searched by keywords and annotated electronically. This also increases efficiency and reduces unnecessary duplication. As trial lawyers, we believe that technology is now necessary to showcase our cases in the most favorable light, and we make every effort to incorporate the most recent graphics technology into our trial strategy.
