Nick Mastracci was admitted to the Maryland State bar in December of 2018. Nick served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Ruth A. Jakubowski, Administrative Family Law Judge, and the Honorable Andrew M. Battista, Associate Judge of the Baltimore County Circuit Court, before joining Rice Law in late 2020. Since joining Rice Law, Nick has built a strong reputation in the family law community and has been recognized as a Maryland Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and a  “Leading Lawyer” by What’s Up? Annapolis Magazine.

Nick focuses solely on family law matters , and as a child of divorce, he offers a unique perspective to clients who are dealing with complex child custody issues.  Nick uses his background and personal experience to help clients understand the importance of prioritizing their children’s best interests above all else, and to help them find appropriate solutions..

In addition to his personal experiences, as a third-generation attorney, Nick was exposed to the legal world at a very young age, and he has always known that he was destined to be a family law attorney. Nick has an inherent ability to handle and resolve difficult legal issues, and he does so in a professional, practical, effective and compassionate manner. Though Nick’s goal is to provide peaceful, positive solutions for his clients, he is always prepared to fight when litigation is inevitable.
